[She nods into his shoulder.] It isn't safe here...

I'll call Susan if you're okay with that. She won't ask.

[He's hesitant. He really is. But he turns his head toward hers and presses his face against her hair. He may just be holding her close or kissing her head.]

[She nods numbly.] T-thank you. [She's assuming he's just holding on. Ken's not the sappy type.]

[She pulls away enough to look at him. She'd wipe her eyes but both her hands are bloody.]

[His are cleaner. But he doesn't even care about the tears. He takes her face gently in his hands and leans in to lean his forehead against hers.]

I'm glad you're alive. I need you.

[She nuzzles against him without thinking. She clearly shares the sentiment.]

I would not die on you.

Please don't go. [He thumbs at her cheek. His touches are soft but very not hesitant. She's comfortable to be with and he can't bear to lose her.]

[She leans into his hand.] I won't go anywhere.

[He's acting very much on emotions right now. He's been aware of his feelings for a long time, but he never planned to tell her. He liked their closeness without all of that. But he's not even embarrassed as he raises his head to kiss her forehead. He's so relieved she's still here.]

[If Nadia had blood in her body, she would blush. As it is she blinks dumbly. She doesn't know how to react to that. This is Ken right? Best friend? Not doppelganger.]

[He doesn't seem all that aware of what he's doing for another second or two.

Before he does and his eyes widen almost in terror and he lets go of her face so fast and scrambles for his phone, although he doesn't let her go.]
